For instance apples š š are about 85% water.
How much water should you drink?
Water is essential for survival and without it, the average individual can only survive for a few days.
The human body is made up mostly of water- 60% but the water content differs among our tissues.
For instance muscle is about 75% water, blood about 90% water and bone about 25% water. About 2/3 of body water is found in our cells...
When you feel thirsty, you are lagging behind in drinking water for that day ( which happens to me in the evenings) and this for me is my biggest struggle in nutrition...drinking more water. But I believe I have figured this out! 2 big bottles a day is all need to drink.
How do you know if you are drinking enough water?
1. The color of your urine should be clear with a hint of yellow. You donāt want to too clear because you also donāt want you depleting all the minerals
2. If itās dark and maybe smelly, it means you are not drinking enough.
So you may be asking, how much then should I drink?
Hereās a simple calculation for you.
Take your weight in kilos
Divide by 30
Drink that in liters
Eg 70 kilos
70 /30 = 2.3 liters
Take your weight in pounds
Divide by 2
Drink that in ounces
Eg 150lbs
150/2 = 75 ounces
